Se ci fossero le condizioni per formare un governo nel Nord della Siria (cosa piuttosto difficile dal momento che si tratta di una delle tante aree alle quali sono interessati i governi stranieri e in particolare quelli medio-orientali impegnati a farsi la guerra come ricordava il buon Hariri in un'intervista a tutto campo oggi) allora sarebbe relativamente facile creare un meccanismo da gestire per portare ad un tavolo anche qaedisti e filo qaedisti reduci dalle prigioni di Mubarak o dalla guerra afghana. Personaggi, contesto, problematiche, sono ben conosciuti.
Gestione, piuttosto che controllo, è la parola chiave in questo tipo di scenario.

Khalilzad ha evidentemente messo a punto un'operazione che, in linea di principio come dice lui, vede d'accordo tutti. Dopo la linea che appare molto breve però, c'è l'incognita della stabilità.
