Se si trattasse di Jamal Khashoggi, risulta interessante il fatto che l'operazione è stata condotta in Turchia e con la copertura dell'Interpol.

Gli attivisti sostengono che Khashoggi è già arrivato in Arabia Saudita.
In Turchia la scomparsa viene indagata ai più alti livelli degli apparati di sicurezza.
