The chairman and members of the board of directors of the NOC commended the Libyan National Army General Command for putting the national interest first. They also thanked the Presidency Council, the House of Representatives, the Higher Council of State, and members of the international community for their efforts to resolve the crisis. They asked Allah for mercy on the souls of the martyrs who have died defending the livelihood of the Libyan people and wished a speedy recovery to those injured in recent fighting at the ports.

Il tono conciliatorio di Sanallah lascia intuire che, al di là della sfuriata americana fatta ad entrambi i governi, Marshal Haftar ha in qualche modo raggiunto almeno un barlume di obiettivo.
La lettera di Serraj inviata ieri al consiglio di sicurezza è stata l'ennesima prova del fatto che il GNA esercita controllo limitato o anche nullo. Quindi Haftar ha ragione da vendere sulla questione della gestione di fondi e ricavi.
Dalle prossime mosse del generale si capirà chi può cantare vittoria.
Come sempre di certo la popolazione libica non ha vinto.
