Comunque vada il 13 Aprile, il Rahul Gandhi ben consapevole di non essere il Gandhi che molti vorrebbero, avrà dalla sua parte il popolo che non si sente rappresentato da un partito di governo uscito vincente per lo più nei grandi distretti. BJP probabilmente puntava a sopprimere un fastidio sul nascere. 
Adesso si ritrova un problema in grado di andare oltre una opposizione divisa.
L'attenzione generata dagli interventi pubblici di Ghandi in Inghilterra, e gli endorsement* dei rappresentanti dei governi americano e tedesco, costituiscono uno stimolo ulteriore.
