You're no longer my concern

Bond thanks Madeleine for the gift she’s given him with their daughter and tells her he loves her. As the missiles rain down on the island, Bond stares out at the sun over the ocean as he is obliterated in the explosion. Madeline sobs as the island is destroyed in the missile strike and Nomi realizes Bond is dead. ign
She greets the arrival of her father with the same passively blank expression that she witnesses his death. ...When it’s her bedtime, her mother tells her to close her eyes and she immediately falls asleep. Imagine that. Imagine bedtime not being a grinding three-hour nightmare of bribery, deflection and persuasion. ...Still, one thing is for sure. Madeleine Swann is a terrible mother. In the film’s closing scene, she starts to tell Mathilde the story of James Bond. But she does it in English, even though Mathilde has only ever spoken in French. I’m not sure what’s worse; telling a story about a promiscuous drunk murderer to a five-year-old, or doing it in a language she doesn’t understand. Either way, that kid is screwed. theguardian

A me piace così. Chissà come si piace lui.
