Our relationship with Cairo is crucial. We look foreword to strengthen relationships with all sister countries. Flag of Libya will be a starting consensus point rather than an arena of everlasting conflict. The way to end the Libyan crisis is to put language of reason above logic of power.

Le difficoltà economiche con cui si devono confrontare anche i Paesi del Golfo nell'era del Covid e l'incertezza rispetto al nuovo corso americano, impongono cautela. E' sconsigliabile intraprendere nuove guerre soprattutto al confine. E come diceva prince Turki al Faisal, una guerra deve essere iniziata solo per buone ragioni e se ne vale la pena. Le guerre senza fine di Haftar inoltre, non hanno senso nel contesto attuale.

La mossa egiziana, un po' come quella saudita di riavvicinamento al Qatar (si vedrà al prossimo consiglio del Golfo quanto essa sia concreta), può essere interpretata anche come un tentativo di distacco dalle politiche troppo aggressive degli Emirati.

Per il momento è azzardato attribuire significati particolari o pensarla come una svolta decisiva.
