Un eventuale riconoscimento ufficiale da parte dell'Oman, della normalizzazione delle relazioni con Israele, e anche un inquadramento di essa in ambito GCC, devono tenere conto di come questo effettivamente possa influire sui rapporti con l'alleato americano.
Per il momento il segretario di di stato se ne torna a casa, dalla visita lampo in regione, con qualche selfie negli Emirati e pochi risultati concreti in mano.
