The United States is concerned about both the verdict and the disproportionate sentences handed down by a Moscow court in the case against the members of the band Pussy Riot and the negative impact on freedom of expression in Russia.
We urge Russian authorities to review this case and ensure that the right to freedom of expression is upheld.

Ora dire che quattro sgallettate con le tette di fuori, siano le paladine della liberta' di espressione perche' sono andate in chiesa a protestare contro Putin, mi pare francamente eccessivo .

Se tutto cio' fosse accaduto in Italia, il dipartimento di stato non avrebbe fatto un comunicato del tipo "vi esortiamo a rivedere la sentenza" .
La Russia e' uno Stato sovrano .
E' ora che l'America impari il rispetto, verso la religione cosi' come verso le altre nazioni .
Su Amnesty manco ci spreco il fiato .

Dei diritti umani gli interessa solo in relazione a come abbattere i governi .
