Moving forward

Since 24 May, the number of inspection teams at the JCC has been reduced from three to two. The limited registrations and reduced inspection teams contributed to the drop of the average daily inspection rate down to three. This is a very serious situation. We need to move forward. I have to say, finally, that the leadership that we’re seeing from both Armenia and Azerbaijan, and from my friends the foreign ministers, is inspiring. Le trattative con Haftar di solito prevedono una visita a Roma per formulare una serie di proposte. E un secondo incontro sempre ad alto livello, e non necessariamente pubblico, a Benghazi per ascoltare la risposta. 

Più che la promessa di un interessamento diretto di Abbas Kamel a quanto pare molto impegnato su vari fronti a prepare le elezioni del prossimo anno, ciò che sembra avere reso il governo ottimista all'indomani della visita del primo ministro libico, è la possibilità di potere ottenere maggiore spazio di manovra dopo le risposte ricevute nel corso della partita di ritorno con Haftar. E visti altri sviluppi a livello internazionale.

La nota semiufficiale recapitata stamane alle redazioni dei giornali turchi, sul resoconto di una telefonata tra il segretario Blinken e il ministro Fidan, è orientata a capitalizzare da dossier nei quali la mediazione turca rimane importante. 

Tra gli obiettivi, oltre agli F16, ci sono la postura della Russia in Siria e il rapporto con i governi del Golfo. 

L'interesse per la Libia rimane invariato, ma inquadrato in altra ottica.
