I cosiddetti attivisti, quando non inventano per impressionare il referente, gonfiano molto la realtà.

Si tratta di questioni da approfondire per comprendere l'evoluzione degli scenari interessati.
Il rapporto tra Maqdisi e l'intelligence giordana e le conseguenti dinamiche sui campi di battaglia non possono essere sfuggiti alla Turchia. Si può concordare sul fatto che si tratta di un personaggio più che di un pericolo vero e proprio. Proprio per questo motivo ha sempre dato molto fastidio.
La Turchia non è riuscita a plasmare i gruppi di jihadisti fino a quando le discussioni ai tavoli con Russia e Iran non hanno avuto obiettivi chiari. Li ha compresi nella misura in cui potevano tornare utili ai propri scopi. Erano troppi da capire e gestire. Ha fallito nella ricerca di un governo alternativo ad Assad. E' più semplice organizzare un'offensiva militare.
