I can imagine that when Cohen, as head of the Mossad, travels around the region to Arab and Muslim countries that do not have diplomatic relations with Israel, he is received by his counterparts in the intelligence community with open arms and with great respect. Royal visits can be quite intoxicating, even without alcohol. I presume that in these times he is also received by the leaders of those countries, as opposed to the past when he could meet only with his counterparts in the various spy agencies.JP

E' un uomo per certi versi intelligente ma soprattutto furbo.
Troppo incline agli eccessi purtroppo.
Questa volta ha perso completamente il contatto con la realtà.
Il suo rapporto con Netanyahu lo ha condizionato in maniera eccessiva negli ultimi mesi.
Il capo di un'agenzia d'intelligence così potente e all'avanguardia non può confondere l'aspetto politico con la sicurezza. Sono due fattori strettamente collegati e dipendenti l'uno dall'altro, ma che devono essere tenuti distanti per effettuare valutazioni e interventi corretti.
Oltre a confondere la realtà delle piazze arabe con quella dei salotti, Cohen sta usando il Sultanato a suo piacimento perché è convinto di avere a che fare con l'anello debole della catena. Indubbiamente l'Oman non possiede risorse pari a quelle degli altri stati del Golfo ma ha un suo modo di farsi valere. L'anello debole è spesso decisivo. Non nel modo in cui vorrebbe il capo del Mossad.
Le agenzie d'intelligence che interagiscono con il Mossad di Cohen devono valutare con molta cautela informazioni e indicazioni fornite. E soprattutto non devono cadere nei suoi tranelli.
