Risulta interessante del documentario Rai la struttura narrativa incentrata su uno tra i periodi considerati più bui della storia dei servizi segreti.
Lo scenario politico risalente all' epoca d'oro della democrazia cristiana lascia intuire il profilo dell' ideatore.
Il racconto poi si intreccia tra storia e operatività dell' organizzazione nel contesto internazionale. Il che dimostrerebbe che la parte sana dell' agenzia continua comunque a funzionare anche tra le maree dell' imperfezione.
Nel complesso l' operazione mediatica dovrebbe avere soddisfatto anche vertici ed appartenenti ad agenzie e comparti.
