The pharaoh who ruled Egypt was a tyrant who oppressed the descendants of Jacob (pbuh), known as the children of Israel (Bani Israel). He used every means to demean and disgrace them. They were kept in bondage and forced to work for him for small wages or nothing. Under this system the people obeyed and worshipped the pharaoh, and the ruling class carried out his orders, thereby authorizing his tyranny and crazy whims. The pharaoh wanted the people to obey him only, and to believe in the gods of his invention. Perhaps, during that time, there were many classes of people who did not believe in or practice polytheism; however, they kept this to themselves and outwardly did as they were expected to do, without revolting or revealing themselves to anyone. L'avvento dell'Islam ha permesso di correggere cattive pratiche di governo anche attraverso l'introduzione della figura del Mufti il cui ruolo è quello di ascoltare gli umori del popolo e consigliare il capo di stato nell'interesse dell'intera nazione.
Le ultime dichiarazioni dell'Imam di Tripoli sembrano orientate a rafforzare le ragioni del rifiuto del consiglio di stato che evidentemente non sono state accolte dal primo ministro.
C'è diffidenza nei confronti della famiglia Haftar e anche consapevolezza che il piano di Boulos non è esente da falle e percorsi accidentati.
D'altra parte la nota di Khaled Haftar è stata interpretata come una conferma delle frizioni che caratterizzerebbero il suo rapporto con Saddam. In molti hanno letto nel comunicato il timore che il fratello acquisisca troppo potere.
In realtà la strada seguita negli ultimi mesi dalla famiglia sia sul versante locale che a livello internazionale ha evidenziato come, pur rimanendo differenze e rivalità, queste sono state messe da parte per lavorare assieme all'obiettivo di affermazione non più solamente come gruppo di potere ma in quanto pronti a diventare istituzione e punto di riferimento.
In questo senso l'implementazione del piano di Boulos, in netta opposizione al lavoro portato avanti dalle nazioni unite, verrebbe ad incrinare la rete di relazioni e la credibilità costruite con i governi di riferimento. Non solo arabi ed africani. Anche europei.
